Lonestar Dollies is a family-owned shop in Mansfield, Texas that builds solid oak moving dollies for movers, warehouses, retailers, and anyone who moves heavy things for a living.
What we build
H-Frame and solid-deck dollies from kiln-dried American red oak, in 18" x 30", 18" x 36", 18" x 40", and 20" x 36" heavy-duty sizes, with 3" to 5" industrial casters rated from 720 to 2,240 lb. We also build Chicago-style raised-end dollies, hot tub dollies, custom sizes, and branded frames for resellers.
Why oak
Red oak runs about 24,000 PSI in tensile strength, roughly twice a standard non-oak hardwood frame, so the deck does not flex or crack under a refrigerator on a truck ramp. The non-slip strips are cut from conveyor-belt rubber instead of thin foam. The casters are the same industrial units our sister store, CasterHQ, supplies to factories.
Who runs it
Founder Jordan Wilson has spent more than fifteen years in casters and material handling. Lonestar Dollies grew out of customers asking for a dolly that matched the quality of the wheels they were buying.
